AIM Norway has a well-functioning and well established apprenticeship program.
In our apprentice program there is normally around 30 persons at any given time. We have one of the largest programs in the aerospace business in Norway. In AIM Norway you will be taken care of in a well-planned and systematic system. All the shops have their own aprentice instructor. This allows an individual follow-up and ensures that each apprentice get access to the experience of all the colleagues.
We have apprentice positions within the areas of structures, avionics, systems, powerplant, data electronics, production electronics. We also have apprentices in mechanical- and surface treatment areas.
A successful applicant for an apprentice position in AIM Norway has finished high school with a major in the aerospace-, mechanical- or electronic fields. Within the aerospace field it is preferable that the education is acceptable in accordance with EASA Part 66 and given by an EASA Part 147 approved school.
